David Goener, Partner Emeritus

David joined Beaton in 2014 following a long career in financial and professional services which included senior leadership roles in banking, accounting and law.

He has worked with Beaton’s clients on a wide range of projects including the application of strategic insights derived from our suite of information and research products. Having been a former client of Beaton, he was well placed to assist clients identify where evidence can inform and enhance strategic decisions.

Drawing on his broad experience in financial and professional services, he also advised clients on business strategy, partner performance management, pricing and regularly facilitated strategic planning conferences.

In July 2024, David accepted the role of Partner Emeritus and, while moving away from day-to-day client involvement, remains a valued member of the Beaton family providing advice and assistance as the need arises.
